Cherry Blossoms!

We took the Twins to see the cherry blossom trees in Washington, DC last week. The weather was beautiful, and most public schools were on Spring Break, so downtown was a zoo. Rather than pushing our way through crowds around the Tidal Basin, we parked near Hains Point in East Potomac Park, which allowed for a more leisurely stroll along the water. We didn't get the classic views of the monuments through the flowering cherry blossoms, but I think we still got some decent shots of the Twins (and us)...

Zoe actually wore her sunglasses for more than like a minute! :-)

This isn't at all cherry blossom-related; it's just a typical pose Zoe likes to make in her stroller.

Izzie can be such a picky eater, that we thought it was quite ironic that she had no problem eating cherry blossoms and other debris she would find on the ground... ;-)

Both twins were quite exhausted on the way home.  Even though there weren't too many crowds where we were, it was still a relatively long drive, and they just aren't used to being stuck in their strollers for too long.  Izzie pretty puch passed out in her car seat on the ride home...
