Gargantuan February Update!

We're actually all caught up with photos! Now if only I had the time to edit all of the video we've shot...

Some Sleepy Time shots...

The Twins admire Snowpocalypse 2010's wrath. ;-)

Christmas 2009-2010, Part 4: "Ukie Christmas"

Ulana's parents celebrate Christmas on January 6th per the "Old" (Julian) calendar, so we get to celebrate the holiday twice! :-) We enjoyed another delicious traditional Ukrainian dinner at their house, during which the Twins continued to demonstrate how willing they are to try new foods.

Zoe can't quite reach that bow...

The Twins get to work opening their presents (and others')...

Zoe hangs out with her cousin Ross.

Vuyko Marko feeds Zoe some borscht.

Izzie models a new lipstick color: Luscious Borscht.

Zoe hangs out with Driko.

Yay, Mirror Zoe!

Peek-a-boo... :-)

The twins really took to their new activity table.

Ulana models some of the latest in infant casual wear.

Christmas 2009-2010, Part 3: Christmas Day

Christmas Day was initially spent at Ulana's parents' house, where we visited for a bit before we headed to Driko's parents' house for the Main Event, so to speak. For those of you who don't know, Ulana's parents celebrate Christmas according to the "Old" (Julian) calendar on January 6th, which makes Christmas one of the few holidays where we don't have to make too many stops. Although I guess we did anyway; oh well... ;-)

Izzie with a cheesy grin...

The twins pose with Vuyko Marko.

I'm not sure if this expression that Zoe has developed is endearing or not. It's definitely different... ;-)

Izzie literally devours Ukrainian non-fiction.

Izzie spots her doppelgänger in the mirror. ;-)

Zoe has some fun with Babi .

Driko hangs out with the twins.

Dido helps Izzie unwrap one of her gifts.

Izzie tries out her new xylophone.

Go figure, Izzie enjoys a box more than her gifts. ;-p

Ulana cracks up over something going on... :-)

Izzie spots herself and Dido in a mirror.

Once again, Izzie demonstrates how good she is at making cheesy grins for the camera... :-)

Zoe has her own, somewhat disconcerting version of a cheesy grin... :-)

Izzie is all tuckered out after a long day of being the center of attention. ;-)

Christmas 2009-2010, Part 2: Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent at the Popowych's in Bel Air, where everyone enjoyed a traditional Ukrainian dinner. The Twins liked pretty much everything they sampled, which was nice...

The twins get to work on the presents. Not necessarily their presents, though... :-)

Zoe admires one of the Christmas Tree ornaments.

Zoe will not give up her spoon to Dido. ;-)

Izzie plays with other people's presents.

Zoe has some fun playing with a wrapping paper bow, despite all of her presents... :-)

Baba holds Izzie, who seems to have taken a liking to Baba's lipstick. :-)

Baba holds Zoe. Very cute...

Zoe has some fun with Teta Nunya.
